The below message is from a friend of mine who is casting for a weight loss show. He wanted us, but we won't leave our kids for that long. Maybe you or someone you know might be interested.

We are currently casting this new weight loss show for a major cable network (VH1). We are looking for TEAMS of TWO to compete to be the first team to lose 100 pounds. The catch is that these teams will have to put up/bet their own money which they will then bet with along the way. We are not looking for obese people who have hundreds of pounds to lose. We are looking for those who have 20 - 100 pounds to lose. They just must be able to lose 100 pounds collectively. NOW this money can be raised through sponsorship/matching funds/ and we encourage everyone to apply. APPLY NOW FOR MORE DETAILS ENCOURAGE all to apply! THIS WILL BE A FUN SHOW. re you ready to change your life? Do you and a friend have a combined total of at least 100 pounds to shed? Are you willing to BET on yourself to compete for BIG MONEY on national TV? If you said “YES, YES, YES”, then it’s time to put your money where your mouth is and audition for this new competition weight loss show. A hit cable network is looking for teams of two who are a combined 100 pounds or more overweight to compete to be the first team to lose 100 pounds with the help of top health professionals and fitness experts. Teams will have a chance to bet their own money, banking on their ability to lose the pounds. So ante up and get ready to be RICH and THIN!!!! almost 7 months

Here ... the 3 big kids pose under a wheeping willow. Bradley bought his first pocket knife in Nashville. Karley bought Amanda her birthday present, Amanda bought a necklace for Nana boo. It is the initial N on a chain. Nana hasn't taken it off yet. Amanda was cut from the same cloth as her Nana. They are 2 peas in a pod. Karley was with us until Saturday of Spring break. She wore out and went home to catch up with her mom. SHe was homesick for her.

We went to Nashville on Thursday and Nana Boo bought the quads halloween outfits. They were stinking cute!!!

Time sure does fly when your having fun. Here are some photo's of our past weekend...fall break. We have been having such a good time as a family...We just load up and go!

This is one heck of a beutiful young lady. She is getting her ears pierced here.

On Saturday Mother McCracken took the kids swimming at Crannert. They loved it.

On Sunday we went to the apple orchard and picked our own apples. We got the creepy white van stuck in the mud. Mandy had to be the butch one and get it out. It isn't going to be a good van for me in the winter. I will have to switch back to the suburban for bad weather. The only problem with that is, we only fit me and 6 kids. So, if we go somewhere as a family or even with Karley, we will take 2 cars.

Im looking for a quad feeding table if anyone knows of a daycare, or a preschool or someone who has one....or a place to get one at a good price. Let me know....Thanks for keeping your ears open for me.

absentee bloggers

We have gotten so many questions about if we are blogging anymore. Well, I know it is hard to believe, but with 4 babies, 2 busy kids, and a cousin that is here on weekends, geez Louise, we are B-u-s-y !!! However, that is no excuse not to blog. It only takes a second.
Here is what's been going on with us....
My full time helper went to Florida for a week. She was really kind to me and lined up help for me for the entire week. I didn't even have to do it. She (Mandy's mom) we call her Marmee. She named herself after the show little women. We've never seen it so we don't understand the name...and we decided yesterday that we want to call her Mother McCracken instead. So Mother McCracken lined up her replacement help. I enjoyed having Lynn here to help, and her mom GG. My dad came and helped one day too. It was a nice change. I missed Mother McCracken however ...and now she is back.
We are on fall break this weekend. Yesterday we all went to Nashville Indiana (brown county). We took the kids pictures with the pumpkins. Bradley bought his first pocket knife. We had lunch at Nonnie's. It is a new restaurant in Nashville, and it was good!
Right now the 3 big kids are giving the babies baths. It's washing 7 dirty butts at once. What's easier than that?
There are 3 naked babies rolling around on the floor right now. Karley can't believe that I'm letting them roll around naked. She is a Sheckles. Modest.
Today we are taking the kids to watch "cloudy with a chance of meatballs". We are doing another activity after that but can't decide what to do yet since it is raining. All our fall break activities were outside ones, so we are re-gearing a bit today.
Amanda and Bradley just brought their report cards home. They both brought home straight A's. They got paid for their perfect report cards. Which is where Bradley got the money to buy a knife. He actually kissed it this morning. Not right is it? They both went to the dentist last week and had 0 cavities. Yeah!!
The babies had their 6 month check ups this past week. Harper weighs almost 15 pounds. Tillie is 14 1/4, Kennedy is 14 3/4 and Kerry is 13 something. It is to much to remember. Sorry.
3 of the babies had their eyes checked last week. Kennedy has been cleared from the eye doctor. Kerry and Harper go back one more time. Tillie had rop so she definitely goes back. We think she may have a lazy eye which will be corrected with glasses at some point, but we are hoping she outgrows that.
I called first steps. They are coming out next week to evaluate the babies. At this point I believe that Kerry and Kennedy will need some physical therapy. Kennedy has really low muscle tone in her arms. Kerry only looks one way. She can look both, but won't. Tillie and Harper are both strong as ox's...so I doubt they will need anything.
Babies are all fussing on the floor....that is my signal to stop blogging. Until next time...over and out. Thanks for all your support! If you ever see me out in the creepy white van...honk and wave.

from michele

Post by Mandy
The message below is from a friend of ours! I thought I would share. Seems like a great concept!
Greetings!
I saw an Oprah show several years ago where a woman (she wasn't a lesbian, but I won't get hung-up on the details) who was determined to find the love of her life. She made a commitment to herself that she would go on dates with 100 different men (can you imagine!). She was determined to find love and she knew it was going to be a numbers game.

She posted ads online and utilized whatever dating services she could, starting with 14 or so dates in the first week (phew!) and whittling it down to 7 for the following weeks, then ultimately one or two dates a week as she began to slowly run out of leads, and probably energy! Finally, on her 69th date she met the man she was looking for - one whose actions matched his words, and someone with whom she felt a spark. She held to her commitment and dated 31 more, returning to the spark she found in date # 69. Isn't this smart? I know, I know - you're sighing, wondering "where am I going to find 100 women to date?!"

So I got this idea. Dating a 100 women is probably possible with the help of dating websites, but I'm guessing it would take a year to actually do. And, most research indicates that we know within the first few minutes of meeting someone whether or not there is a connection worth pursuing.
My idea is this. I am going to gather 101 single lesbians (I threw in an extra one for good measure), and once I gather 101 interested lesbians, I will pick a date/time for everyone to gather. This will not be speed dating (I'm pretty sure lesbians invented that anyway, didn't they?) - this will be a big social gathering with entertainment and you will have opportunities to meet A LOT of other lesbians, and you're on your own once I bring you all together. I have no idea how much interest there is in this, so I am unsure how quickly I will gather 101 signups, and there's no guarantee that everyone will still be single, or available to attend on the day of the event - so this is all one big fascinating experiment. This event will take place in Indianapolis, so at least you can be assured that if women attend from other cities (which you are welcome to), at a minimum they will have transportation and can get themselves to Indy, which seems important when it comes to dating.
Want to take part?

Add your name to the 101 Women List! Once you've signed up, check back at 101lesbians.com to keep track of the number of women signed up.

For long-distance couples I am now offering skype services. I've now worked with couples in NY, WI, OH, MD and KS and it's really amazing how similar the process is to having clients in my office. We are still face-to-face, only now I get occassional visits from pets, and sometimes my clients wear their warm, fuzzy pajamas to therapy.

Read what my Skype clients are saying about their experience.

If you, or your friends, live outside of Indiana and want to do counseling with me - send me an email!

mandy who?

post by mandy
man it has been forever since i have put words to the blog. i have been crazy busy with real estate school. i am officially now a licensed agent and decided what the hell while all the info was fresh in my mind i am now in broker school. in college i signed up for the same class twice and the first time i took it i got a B. i signed up again on accident and some kid in the class asked me why i was taking it again. i was like um i took it and got a B. Well he had dropped it for one reason or another. i had sat in that for 3 damn weeks and had no idea it was the same class. What the hell? Dumb box of rocks award. so i had this very strict schedule to graduate college in three years and my schedule was to the damn minute. i remember walking out of that class weeks into the semester with a pit in my stomach wondering what the hell i was gonna do. I was really panicked. it's really hard being an over achiever. well i went to the R.O.T.C. department and they let me join one of there classes late. They were always looking for warm bodies to fill their classes. So i actually marched and twirled fake guns. geesh the stuff i get myself into. We were all talking the other day about who and what we were going to be for hallloween and bradley informed us that he was gonna be "the fat bastard" after talking with him about 30 seconds i realized he just like saying "fat bastard"
